Sasha Waddell Furniture

Sasha Waddell’s furniture is synonymous with Scandinavian chic. Her ranges of understated, clean-lined pieces – originally inspired by classic Swedish designs - lend any room an elegant simplicity.

It is over 20 years since Sasha Waddell pioneered this clean, pared down decorative look; understandably, it’s still one of today’s most fashionable styles of living.

More recently, Sasha Waddell’s furniture designs have taken inspiration from America’s East Coast. Her Cape Cod Collection of painted furniture is evocative of ‘old Colonial’ clapboard houses on the Hamptons shorefront; whilst the Utility Home Office range is inspired by American 1930s office furniture.

Most of Sasha Waddell Furniture is hand-built in England to the highest standards of craftsmanship. Available in an exclusive palette of colours, this furniture perfectly illustrates how cool, receding tones work in a northern climate to lighten a room.

And every piece of Sasha Waddell’s furniture conforms to her philosophy: keep it simple, functional and understated.

Sasha Waddell: an overview

After studying interior design at Chelsea College of Art, Sasha Waddell quickly made her mark by pioneering the now highly recognisable and very popular ‘Swedish look’. Taking the essence of 18th and 19th century Swedish style - a cool and simplified interpretation of ornate French classical decoration – Sasha brought fresh, elegant interiors, full of light, to this country.

Sasha Waddell began designing furniture in 1985 when she was unable to find the pieces she needed to complete her vision. Now Sasha Waddell Furniture (in association with Teed Interiors Ltd) continues to supply her chic signature look - the epitome of all that is calm, contemporary yet classic.
